A Bounty of Beautiful Designs from Heather Powers

June 17, 2025

Heather Powers is an illustrator of nature and nostalgia. She loves drawing things that nurture the soul, relish the simple life, and celebrate the everyday. Heather remembers gleefully crafting her first book as a second grade author-illustrator, an autobiography for a school contest.

Those first illustrations featured her family car packed for vacation, her decorated bedroom, and a cat she dearly wished for. These illustrations not only started her artistic journey, but won her an award and the opportunity to meet the real Dr. Seuss!"My seven-year-old self wasn't particularly impressed with meeting Theodor Seuss Geisel," Heather recalls. "I thought I was going to meet a real talking cat that day."

Here's a look at how far Heather's beautiful work has come since that second grade autobiography...

The Endearing and Colorful Art of Dylan M

May 20, 2025

Dylan Mierzwinski is known for her boldly colorful artwork and endearing style. Her work is full of florals, hand-lettering, and rosy-cheeked characters, often inspired by ordinary moments that she can craft into extraordinary pieces of art.

With a commitment to honoring her energy and enjoying an organic flow to her days, Dylan is likely favoring an opportunity to be creative — she is currently on a painting streak and has been putting in around an hour each day, some days more! Her favorite medium is gouache, finding joy both in the process and in the dried, velvety flat finish, but she says her close runner-up is Photoshop, as it allows her to turn her work into usable pieces for clients and products.

When she's not creating, Dylan enjoys cooking, binging her latest TV obsession, Top Chef, and dancing around with her husband and favorite pup.
