The Tippity-Top Bestest Art Roadshow Ever!
Ready for something completely different? How about an art show that comes to you?
That's exactly what Jennifer Nelson Artists did. With the energy of a three-ring circus, The Tippity-Top Bestest Art Roadshow Ever rolled into select towns across America to showcase new work by the most talented artists around.
When the pandemic brought the trade show world to a halt, JNA refused to let that stop them from connecting with clients. "Since we weren't traveling to the big trade shows, the logical solution was to create a traveling art show of our own," said Jennifer Nelson. "We had been planning this for a long time and we couldn't have been more excited when we finally made it happen."
The first order of business: getting the right wheels. Using a technique called vehicle wrapping, a spectacular customized car (christened "Jolene") was created — literally covered with eye-popping artwork by JNA's amazing artists. "This car was a showstopper wherever we went," said Jennifer. "Our clients absolutely loved it."
Designing Jolene
Every great transformation starts with a blank canvas. In Jolene's case, that was a very sensible, very gold 1992 Volvo 940.
Former JNA agent and designer Haley Wood took on the extraordinary task of mapping JNA's artwork across every surface of the car — both sides, the hood, the roof, the trunk — all planned out in precise 1:20 scale schematics. The roof alone got a giant pink "START HERE" heart. Because of course it did.
Every legend has a humble beginning.
Haley Wood's master plan. Every inch of Jolene, accounted for.

Then came pick-up day — the moment the plan became real. When Jennifer finally laid eyes on the finished Jolene, there was only one appropriate response: lean on her hood and never let go. Pick up day was a thrill! With the JNA key in the ignition, she was ready to roll!
About Jennifer Nelson Artists
Jennifer Nelson Artists is an illustration agency based in Springfield, Vermont, representing a roster of talented artists whose work is available for licensing and buyouts, as well as commissions. JNA has been selling and licensing art every day since launching in January 2015, growing steadily by adding new artists and constantly creating new work sold and licensed to manufacturers for surface design and commissions for editorial and book publishers.
JNA's illustrators create beautiful, charming images with a hand-drawn style that's quirky, feminine, and full of character. Their work brings beauty to all sorts of goods. Jennifer's philosophy: "Art doesn't decorate. It transforms."
JNA can dream big — perhaps you'll see us in the sky someday!
Naming her was easy. The moment she rolled out of the wrap shop — flamboyant, irresistible, impossible to ignore — there was only one name that fit. Dolly Parton wrote the song, but this Jolene lives it. Flaming locks of vivid color, ivory skin of glossy vinyl, and a beauty beyond compare. She turns heads in every city she enters. She can't help it. It's just who she is.
On the Road
Jolene has logged thousands of miles, rolling into cities across America to bring JNA's art directly to the people who love it most. From Niagara Falls to Chicago, Vermont sugar houses to Great Lakes sunsets, every stop brought new clients, new conversations, and at least one excellent roadside attraction.
Jennifer has made it her mission to show up — in person, with art, with Jolene — because nothing beats meeting face to face. Every city brought great clients, great conversations, and the promise of more to come.
The map is still open. The tank is always full. Watch out, America — the tippity-top bestest art show ever is coming to a town near you.
