Jeanine studied illustration at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and started her creative career as a children’s book designer in the big publishing houses of NYC. After nearly a decade, she made the leap from corporate world into freelance to expand her creative opportunities and start a family. She now lives in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA and works from her home studio. When she’s not making art, she’s usually on duty as mom-taxi, planning her next travel adventure, or has her nose in a good book. Nature, music, travel, and spending time with family all inspire her work.
Jeanine’s clients include Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Design House Greetings, Andrews McMeel Publishing, I See Me! Books, Avanti Press, Utne Reader, Time Out Chicago, Sourcebooks, Scholastic, Klutz, Pictura, Sleeping Bear Press, Amicus Books, Fordham University, Callisto Media, Harvard Magazine, and Apples and Honey Press.
