Emily combines traditional painting and digital media to capture the joy, beauty and humor found in everyday life. Her preferred mediums are gouache, acrylic paint, digital illustration and collage. Her preferred subjects are the living, breathing, perfectly imperfect kind - people, animals, and plants!

Emily is inspired daily by her kids and their zest for life. She loves to bring storytelling into her work, combined with a bit (or more than a bit) of silliness.

Emily has worked with: Target, West Elm, Santa Barbara Design Studio, Niquea.D, Ohh Deer, Design House Greetings, Studio Oh!, Beautylish, Givingly, Tattly, Halfpenny Postage, The Foggy Dog, and Mixbook, among others. Her work has received a Louise Award for greeting card design and has been featured in Uppercase Magazine.
