THE TIPPITY-TOP BESTEST ART ROADSHOW EVER!

Ready for something completely different? How about an art show that comes to you?

Jennifer Nelson Artists is doing just that. With the breathless anticipation of a three-ring circus, The Tippity-Top Bestest Art Roadshow Ever rolls into select towns across America to showcase new work by the “bestest” artists around.

With so many trade shows canceled last year, Jennifer and Cathy had to come up with a brand new way to get our artists’ work in front of art buyers. “Since we weren’t traveling to the big trade shows, the logical solution was to create a traveling art show,” said Jennifer Nelson. “We have been planning this for a long time and we couldn’t be more excited.”

The first step was to get the right wheels. Using a technique called vehicle-wrapping, a spectacular customized car (christened “Jolene”) was created – literally covered with eye-popping artwork by JNA’s amazing artists. “This car is a show stopper. We can’t wait for our clients to see it!” said JNA artists’ agent Cathy Hughes.

THE FIRST JOURNEY - AUTUMN 2021

Jolene’s maiden voyage took JNA over 2,000 miles from home- first stop, Niagara Falls! Jennifer and Cathy continued on to Michigan, Chicago, Cleveland, and Buffalo before heading back to Boston.

“We chose these cities for our first trip because we have great clients along the route and it’s not too far away. Over the next couple of years, we plan to make several trips to different destinations,” said Cathy. Clients that are not along the route are able to request a visit from Jennifer and Cathy, which they plan to use for brainstorming the roadshow’s next destination.

THE OFF-ROADSHOW - WINTER 2022

“I miss seeing our clients!” Jennifer Nelson explained when talking about the new show. “We had to cancel our February road trip because of COVID but I didn’t want that to stop us from seeing people. So, we decided to have an off-road show instead.”

Always inventive, Jennifer Nelson and her team put together an exciting plan for the show that includes virtual meetings with clients from Jolene’s backseat. Hundreds of brand new images are available for perusing- “Our artists seem to be working overtime lately, creating their always gorgeous and unique art,” shared Cathy, “I feel like the optimism of spring coming and the possibility of being able to head outdoors and see other people has really inspired a lot of us.”

Categories that are brimming with new work include Christmas, florals, seasonal (especially Spring!), greeting cards, and more.

“Don’t forget, we will also have loads of art from our brand new artist, Rosie Dore!” Jennifer wants to make sure clients know that Rosie’s strikingly detailed and lush art is now available for licensing. Jennifer Nelson Artists, Inc. is a Boston-based illustration agency representing 16 talented artists whose work is available for licensing and buyouts as well as commissions.
