It’s Back-To-Back Trade Shows For Jennifer Nelson Artists Inc.

JNA Returns To NYC For Both Blue Print Show 1 And SURTEX, May 2018

Boston, MA. March 27, 2018:  Jennifer Nelson Artists will once again exhibit at two consecutive trade shows in New York City. Look for artist’s agent and entrepreneur Jennifer Nelson along with JNA's new agent Nanda Rust at the upcoming Blue Print Show 1 on May 17th to 19th, and the next day at SURTEX from May 20th to 22nd, 2018.

“It’s almost enough to make you laugh,” said Jennifer Nelson. “A trade show in New York City is a huge deal, both in terms of preparation and of excitement at the event. Now for the third year we have two shows in a row. We barely have time to catch our breath from Blue Print when we have to pack up and move to SURTEX. I feel like we’re in an Olympic event! Do they give a medal for trade shows?” Although it’s a big effort, it’s very rewarding. “I wouldn’t want it any other way,” Jennifer added with a smile.

In the Big Apple tradition, the shows are bigger and better every year. “Fortunately, I have some help this time,” said Jennifer." In November, Nanda Rust joined our team. She quickly learned the ropes and was promoted to agent. Nanda has a sharp eye for art and a passion for connecting our tip-top great artists with the world’s best clients! She has been a big help as the agency expands and I know everyone will enjoy meeting her.”

Jennifer Nelson Artists, Inc. will show the latest work of the company’s ten top-notch illustrators: Jennifer Orkin Lewis, Bee Brown, Jill Howarth, Miriam Bos, Rachel Grant, Lauren Lowen, Kelly Angelovic, Anisa Makhoul, Rae Ritchie and Janna Krupinski.

Since Jennifer and Nanda will be in New York City for a total of six days from May 17th through the 22nd, there will be oodles of opportunities to meet for face-to-face. “With double the agents we’ll have time for twice as many meetings,” said Jennifer. “I’m hoping to see all of our regular clients at the shows. And of course we want to make some new friends while we’re in town.” To meet with Jennifer or Nanda, attendees are encouraged to make an appointment. “We’ll be busy, so it helps to have a schedule.”

The trade shows are more than just business. “Ours is an international industry and so much of our contact happens by email and online video meetings. That’s why it’s such a joy to meet in person and socialize with our clients,” Jennifer Nelson said from the JNA office in the Boston area.

The illustrators from Jennifer Nelson Artists create beautiful and charming images which are then sold or licensed to manufacturers for surface design, editorial work and home decor. The artists are also commissioned to illustrate books, a rapidly growing category for JNA.

Jennifer’s team of artists specialize in a hand-drawn style that’s quirky yet feminine, and brings beauty to all sorts of goods. Jennifer’s philosophy is “Life is better with art.”

Trade shows like Blue Print and SURTEX are the high point of the year for JNA. “We’re looking forward to seeing you!”
