Rosie Dore is an artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer who primarily works digitally or with acryla gouache paints. She enjoys creating art that has anything to do with nature or wildlife, especially birds with bold, bright colors and textures. Artistically, she enjoys building very full repeats, fitting illustration together in a pattern that has a flow to it.

Rosie Dore is an illustrator and surface pattern designer based in Bristol, UK. Her work reflects her belief in the importance of maintaining and strengthening our connections with nature. Having dabbled in beekeeping, often befriending local cats, dogs and wildlife, and unable to quench her houseplant addiction, it is unsurprising that her work frequently features animals and plants.

Rosie enjoys creating highly detailed and textural artwork; especially maximalist repeats and rich placements. She explored animation during her Fine Art degree, and decided that the visual storytelling aspect was what captivated her most - which she now gets to create through illustrated worlds. She also has a master's in Psychology, and is interested in the therapeutic aspects of creating art. When she is not illustrating, Rosie likes to listen to soul music, get lost in nature, and travel. The places she has enjoyed most so far are Iceland and New Orleans.

Some of her clients have included: Michael O’Mara, Terre de Sienne, Timeless Treasures, Flow Magazine, and Trader Joes.
