Since graduating from the Illustration Department at The Rhode Island School of Design, my artwork has appeared in magazines, on book covers, and even as stickers! I taught Illustration at both Montserrat College of Art and RISD before starting a new chapter working in the gift and stationery industry. Currently, I live with my husband in Nashville, TN, creating whimsical illustrations and surface design for a variety of markets including editorial, publishing and licensing. You can find me currently teaching at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film and probably eating sushi. Clients include Scholastic Press, Galison/ Mudpuppy Press, Demdaco, Cricket Magazine, Williams-Sonoma, Girls' Life Magazine, Department 56, and Utne Reader. If you weren’t an illustrator, what would you be? I think part of me would love to be a chef. What do you like to read? I find myself reading a lot of biographies by comedians. Where would you like to travel to next? Tokyo! I have been there twice and would love to return ASAP. What movie have you seen several times? A Fish Called Wanda. What is your favorite food? Sushi!
